I’m thrilled to announce that The Butter Milk Ranch will host our next installment in Straight Up 615 Presents. Chef Daniel Scott Gorman and Pasty Chef Alyssa Gangeri can’t wait to wow us with their culinary skills. Owned and operated by our friends across the street at Urban Grub, BMR offers us a bit more leg room by lending their entire space and no weather worries!
The evening begins with a welcome minute including a curated cocktail, passed amuse-bouche, and selfie station. As we find our seats, our mouths will continue their amusements as we taste through (at least) five Smooth Ambler spirits alongside the five inspired courses from the kitchen. Count on lots of interaction from our distiller and chefs alike. Maybe we’ll have a little surprise sip on top of these beauties!
The Cask Strength Series was born from founder and whiskey-maker John Little’s desire to showcase distilling, maturation, and blending while highlighting ingredients mostly from the Appalachian region. These award-winning whiskeys are distilled and bottled in West Virginia at Smooth Ambler Distillery. We’ll also taste through the latest renditions of Contradiction and Old Scout, including a distillery-only cask finished release.
